A Full Circle Moment: Welcoming Back Meagan Rohan as Go Icon’s VP of Sales

We are delighted to welcome Meagan Rohan back to the Go Icon family as our new Vice President of Sales! As one of the original members of the Caremerge team, Meagan has been part of our story from the very beginning, and we couldn’t be happier to have her rejoin us. With over 20 years of experience in senior living, she brings not just expertise, but also a ton of passion, perspective, and heart. We caught up with Meagan to hear more about her journey, her inspiration, and what she sees for the future of senior living.

Q: How did your professional journey lead you to the senior living industry?
Meagan:
My first job in high school was working in activities on a memory support floor at a CCRC just a few blocks from my childhood home. I had incredible mentorship and training, and it really sparked my decision to devote my career to older adults. I still have relationships with teammates, family members, and residents from that community. It was a life-changing start.

Q: Is there an experience that shaped your perspective on serving seniors and senior living operators?
Meagan:
One of the most meaningful experiences was working in the same community where my grandmother moved through the continuum of care. Supporting my own family through difficult decisions and transitions gave me a deeper appreciation for the honor and responsibility of serving seniors.

Q: What excites you most about working in senior living today?
Meagan:
I’m inspired by how our industry continues to evolve, especially with the advancements in technology and AI that are transforming care and operations. But what excites me most are the relationships I’ve built with colleagues, owners, and operators I’ve worked alongside for decades. Those lasting connections make this work so fulfilling.

Q: What drew you to the Go Icon team and this opportunity?
Meagan:
Returning to an organization that I once had a hand in growing is such a rare and special opportunity. I’m thrilled to rejoin and contribute in new ways, drawing on both my operator and vendor perspectives.

Q: What unique perspective or expertise do you hope to bring?
Meagan:
Having walked the halls of communities in both life enrichment and sales & marketing roles, I truly understand the day-to-day realities operators face. Combined with my experience in compliance, operations, sales, marketing, and CARF/CCAC accreditation, I bring a well-rounded, practical perspective to supporting our customers and partners. My goal is to help advance Go Icon’s mission to deliver a phenomenal aging experience for all.

Q: What trends or innovations do you think will shape the future of senior living?
Meagan:
Technology and AI will absolutely play a huge role, from enhancing resident care to streamlining operations. But just as important will be how we balance innovation with maintaining the human connections and relationships that are the heart of senior living.

Q: Tell us a little about yourself outside of work.
Meagan:
I’m a retired Irish dancer and a lifelong Chicagoan. I love traveling and exploring new restaurants, and I’m also a marathon runner. Running has been an important outlet for me, and I’m especially proud of balancing endurance races with living with Type 1 Diabetes.

We’re elated to have Meagan on board and look forward to the leadership, expertise, and passion she will bring to our team and partners. Welcome, Meagan!
