Technical Project Manager

Position Overview:
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of new and existing customer and partner integrations. This role manages cross-functional technical projects from kickoffthrough implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with a high level of quality.
The ideal candidate combines strong project management skills with technical aptitude, excels at building relationships with customers and vendors, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This individual will work closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Support, and external partners to drive successful integration outcomes while continuously improving implementation processes.
Your Impact – Responsibilities:
Lead technical integration projects from planning through deployment.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure successful project execution.
Build and continuously improve scalable processes for onboarding and supporting integrations.
Define, document, and maintain integration standards, best practices, and technical documentation.
Gather, document, and communicate technical integration requirements.
Manage project schedules, resource planning, and stakeholder expectations.
Facilitate project meetings, provide status updates, and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
Maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Support testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), production deployments, and post-launch monitoring.
Identify opportunities to improve integration processes and overall project delivery.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of technical project management experience.
- Healthcare integration experience preferred.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent technical projects.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Passion for solving complex problems and driving projects to successful completion.
Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of APIs and web services
- Experience with integration technologies and data formats, including:
- REST APIs
- HL7
- ADT
- JSON
- Experience with Mirth, Interfaceware Iguana, or similar integration platforms preferred.
- Basic understanding of networking, VPNs, and cloud technologies.
- Experience creating integration specifications and data mapping documentation.
- Familiarity with API testing and validation.
- Experience coordinating UAT and production deployments.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
